Katherine is a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Master's level Psychologist with over 30 years experience.

I believe the clients I serve are whole individuals, and approach my work with each of them as an active and collaborative partnership. My client list includes individuals, couples, and groups. My specialty is providing therapy for personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, emotional regulation issues, and domestic violence.

I utilize only evidence-based strategies, and shape them to meet the needs of each client. I work with them toward a balance between acceptance and change – the way I also approach my personal life. I use a wide range of tools and skills including DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Exposure Therapy, Behavior Activation, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. These techniques allow clients to leave with specific tools and ideas they can implement in their own lives.

My passion is to improve the lives of my clients, offer them new insights, enable them to see things from different perspectives, empower them to make new choices, and create a life they feel is worth living.
