Katherine Schomp's education and experience

Katherine attended University of Colorado for her undergraduate degree in psychology.


She did graduate studies at Rutgers University and received a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology at the New School For Social Research.


Katherine received her Master’s Degree in clinical social work at Columbia University.


Katherine will complete her training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy in November of 2017, through 

the Behavior Tech program at the University of Washington, run by its founder, Marsha Linehan, who developed DBT,


Katherine has had additional training in brief solution-focused therapy, exposure therapy, domestic violence, early childhood development, divorce mediation and trauma-informed interventions.
